Expert’s Comment: For less than Rs. 15,000, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G is a fair performance bundle. The phone's main selling point is that it supports up to seven 5G bands and has a competitive processor for daily operations. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G will be appealing to customers who enjoy watching videos on their phones due to its big screen and long battery life. Instead of what is being used, we would have preferred to see a brighter AMOLED display with a conventional refresh rate. The Redmi Note 11S (Review), with its 90Hz AMOLED display, delivers a superior multimedia experience if you can stretch your budget by Rs. 500.
3. POCO M3 Pro 5G (Price:13,800/-)
The POCO M3 Pro 5G is one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in India under the category of the latest mobile phones under 15000, which POCO claims is a 5G all-rounder. The budget mobile phone finds itself in a crowded segment, facing competition from the likes of iQoo, Vivo, Realme, Motorola, etc. The POCO M3 5G features a MediaTek Dimensity 700 MT6833, which is a popular choice among brands launching 5G smartphones in this category. The smartphone also supports seven 5G bands, which should be more than enough to cover all telecom circles in India.

Expert’s Comment: The POCO M3 pro 5G is not too bad if you're looking for a mobile phone that will be ready to use 5G networks when they arrive. However, the 6GB variant isn't the best value for money, especially when you can get a more powerful 5G phone like the Realme narzo 30 pro 5G for approx the same price or less if you consider ongoing discounts.
As I discussed in my first impressions piece if you're not too fussy about 5G (and you shouldn't be right now), phones like as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S and Redmi Note 10 Pro offer much better value with similar performance but way better features.

The company has focused on entertainment, providing a crisp pOLED display and stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Snapdragon Sound. It operates Android 12 out of the box and you'll get one guaranteed software update along with 3 years of security updates. Those who are looking to use this smartphone for multiple years will find this great deal. At this time, I don't consider the absence of 5G connectivity to be a deal-breaker. Sadly, the Moto G52 overlapped when it comes to camera performance and failed to put up a strong fight in different conditions. If you use a smartphone casually prefer stock Android and wants a phone for media consumption, the Moto G52 should fit the bill. However, if you are looking for better performance, you could consider the Vivo T1 5G which is currently discounted and starts at Rs. 15,790.
5. Samsung Galaxy M13 (Price: 9,499/-)

Expert’s Comment: The Vivo T1 44W gets the foundational right for a reasonably good budget experience. One of its core positive features is the AMOLED panel it employs for viewing although the refreshing rate is capped at 60Hz. While lightweight and thin, the T1 44W gets in a headphone jack and a 5,000mAh battery which can be charged at 44W, as the name suggests. Build with a decent triple-camera layout, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 680 SoC, and up to 6GB of RAM, the Vivo T1 44W is definitely a healthy recommendation in the budget market.

Expert’s Comment: Realme Nazro 50 stands decent under the budget category and will be competing with brands like Redmi and Oppo smartphones which come with upgraded camera muscles. But in anyways, when we talk about a smartphone with 4GB RAM for a budget smartphone, it is a decent bid.
8. Oppo A17 (Price: 12,499/-)
Oppo A17 mobile was launched in September 2022. The smartphone comes with a 6.56-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720x1612 pixels. Oppo A17 is supported by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) processor. It comes with 4GB of RAM. The Oppo A17 operates on Android 12 and it has great battery life 5000mAh.

Expert’s Comment: The OPPO A17 is a reasonable device by OPPO. The handset has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display which offers HD+ resolution. The display of the phone doesn't have any gorilla glass shield. The device is powered by an Helio G35 processor which offers average performance. The smartphone does not support fast charging. If you are looking to purchase the latest mobile phone under Rs 15,000 price range, the competition is offering much better specifications and features at a similar price point.
9. Xiaomi redmi note 10T (Price: 13,999/-)
Xiaomi has launched its own budget 5G smartphone. While the new Redmi Note 10T is a bit late to the game, a keen look at the specifications also reveals that there's something different about it, when compared to the existing smartphones under this category. Another essential detail to note here is that the introductory price of Rs 13,999 does not apply anymore, and the device is now priced starting from Rs. 14,499.
After using it for a week, I found that the Redmi Note 10T is a decent 5G smartphone, but as with every budget 5G device we have seen so far, it falls short in some areas.

Expert’s Comment: With 5G support and amazing features, the Redmi Note 10T is one of the most reasonable smartphones with decent features on the list. While Redmi mobile phones are no longer the up-to-the-mark phones in this price category, there is no doubt that the brand still knows the features that are most important to people in this price range. With decent camera sensors and battery life, the Redmi Note 10T is a good option point for someone who wants to buy a 5G smartphone but doesn't want to spend too much on the purchase. However, the smartphone doesn't excel in any particular category in comparison with its competitor's brands.
10. Samsung Galaxy M32 (Price: 11,499/-)

With a 20MP selfie camera, the smartphone can offer good image quality while shooting from the front-facing sensor as well. With a great battery life, which has been making it stand out from other phones, the Galaxy M32 makes sure that it comes across as an attractive package to everyone.
